I'm setting up a new C7 to only host the HD+ Android Dashboard app. I'm using a few webcore pistons for most of the heavy lifting with that app. I want to move all of the dashboard app off my main hub to the new hub. I made a backup of my main hub and restored it to the new hub. Then I deleted all of the things that I don't need there except the HD+ app and webcore. Do I now have two webcore apps running and possibly creating conflict? Can I delete the pistons that I don't need off of the new C7 without affecting my main hub?
Assuming that you only migrated the apps over, you will have two separate webcore instances at that point. Unless you’ve added HubMesh to bring the devices from the main hub to your second hub and then editted the pistons to use those devices there shouldn’t be a conflict.
Also you will need to set up a maker api instance on the new hub and expose the devices.
webCoRE doesn't need MakerApi, but if anything else was using it, then yes.
The Android HD+ Dashboard uses it. I'm trying to figure out how to copy all of that app over as well. I have about 40 connector variables with it that I want to get off my main hub. I use webcore to manipulate those variables. Work in progress...
