Setting a variable

I have some of the Zooz ZSE37 buttons, that work really nice. I want to do more with them!

I created a hub boolean variable that I'm trying to set true/false based on a button push. The rule triggers, but the state of the variable does not change.

Am I going about this the wrong way?

This is only possible to answer if you share a screenshot (or copy/paste in the unlikely event that comes out looking clean) of your rule. If you do that, someone can probably give you some ideas. Good luck!
