Servers down?
Cannot reach update servers (just endlessly checking, or in diagnostics tool cannot find).
Cannot re-connect/re-link to Alexa (logs in, shows my hub, but fails to connect).

Nope.
Everything points to a lack of DNS access.
To test this, go to:
http://hubitat.local/hub/networkTest
and see if you can ping "www.google.com".
Able to resolve. Had a power outage earlier today. Suspect the issue is that our hub is just quite old. I checked DNS prior to posting. Pinging 1.1.1.1 and google.com from Network Test both worked fine. Eventually resolved after multiple restarts/restores/rollbacks. Finally back to most recent backup and newest firmware..

Mine was stuck in a loop the other day showing that I needed to update from .125 to .131. I was already running .135. I even rebooted the hubs (was on a C-7 and C-8) with no luck. A browser cache clear did the trick.
