Sengled Z-Wave 8.7W A19 LED Light Bulb Support

I'm new to hubitat and finally found some Z-Wave Plus Bulbs that just arrived. After pairing the first one, I noticed it comes in as just "(Device)" so I started to look and see if there was a Generic Z-Wave Plus Bulb option but there isn't. What might be the best option to identify this device as? I set it to Generic Z-Wave Plus Dimmer for now but can a Generic Z-Wave Plus Bulb device type be created for future support? The actual data from the pairing is listed as:

Sengled - Z-Wave 8.7W A19 LED Light Bulb - White
Model:V11-N13W SKU:6517369

I just installed several of the zigbee version the Sengled bulb which was identified currectly automatically. Zigbee because I gave up on finding a z-wave bulb. Get it off eBay? Never the less there is a generic z-wave plus driver listed in my hub (C8-Pro) v2.3.9.180. Not for a bulb specifically though. Have you tried the generic z-wave plus dimmer?

There are some changes coming in the next platform release that might address this gap in the driver choices in the current release. But until then: is this just a dimmable bulb? (I don't see the Color Control command class, 0x33, listed, so I'm guessing so.) In this case, something like "Generic Z-Wave Plus Dimmer," as suggested above, should work.

Hi, I almost bought the Zigbee version as well but BestBuy in the USA had the Z-Wave version, so I bought them instead. They claim they are dimmable in "the app" but I'm using the Hubitat C8-Pro and not the Sengled app. I am using it at the moment as the "Generic Z-Wave Plus Dimmer" so I was just pointing out, that when I browse the list of possible Z-Wave devices, there are alot of optons, just not one for a bulb specifically.

This bulb is dimmable, but it does not offer color changing. I doubt they will be popular since they are $30 each when the wall switches are in the same ballpark. I'm just working on some automations and some areas I have furniture blocking the wall switches to some of the fixture locations and I'm attempting to fulfill that void for the time being!

I'm also new to hubitat. The information that I provided above is listed under the device. I could have swore I found more detailed information somewhere in the hubitat interface but I could have just been imagining it!

If you don't need $34 1500 Lumen Bulbs the 800 lumen versions are much less expensive.
When ever I read device discriptions referencing works with the App, I think wifi or bluetooth devices. I am also new to hubitat About 6 weeks or so. But I have been automating using wifi devices for years mostly WEMO switches and C by GE bulbs integrated with google home. That was until Google cancelled Nest Secure. So instead of saying to google. Thank you sir can I have another? I began a migration away from things Google and cloud control through wifi. Discovered Abode then Hubitat. Mostly I have been using Rule Maker. I have some formal programing training in both low and high level compiled languages and a little scripting practice. Why I jumped into RM. The hardest part was getting the concept of event driven scripting and once I caught on to that, the next challenge was to make my ideas work with the minimial features RM offers ie No functions, No Jumping to sub routines, and an editor which makes it a pain in the kester to edit conditional expressions as it wants to be helpful to the point of being useless in that it is so picky about if then nesting such as to prevent making easy edits. But as I work through the frustrations I am making break throughs The biggest was RTFM. I am liking Hubitat and already convinced a friend to buy a C8 and get started.
