Sengled "Button Controller" Dimmer Function not working correctly

I got a couple of the Sengled (E39-G8C) Smart Light Switch during the Holiday Sales. I've paired them with Habitat and they registered as Sengled "Button Controller" type.

In the Button Controller App within Hubitat, the 2 Dimmer Buttons are not working, at least not as expected.

Both buttons have a "held" option, but for some reason, on the initial press down they are triggering a "Pushed" event, then if you continue to hold the button, it triggers the "Held" event. How do I prevent it from triggering the initial "Pushed" event if I'm trying to do the "Held" function?
I would like it set so that a single push, increases the light level by XX amount, but then holding the button gradually increases the light level..

Currently I have the "Held" state of the button set to the Action Type "Set Dimmer and Bulbs" > "Start raising/lowering dimmer" and then the dimmer selected.. But this doesn't do anything. The light level never increases nor decreases while the button is held.

How should I configure this so it achieve the intended use case?

Probably the easiest way to solve this issue is to tweak the driver, but you could technically make it work with some complicated logic in each of your rules. I was about to buy a couple of these to test, but seeing your post has convinced me otherwise.

Pushed always precedes held. In other words there can not be a held without an immediate prior pushed.
What you are missing from this device is released which it doesnt provide.

My problem with these devices is a fresh battery only lasts 4-5 days! Is your battery life acceptable?
