Tasker does a few things for me (Forum bot is telling me I should be PM'ing you instead, so forgive momentary topic hijacking?):

  • IN: Responds to secret string to change Mode on phone (e.g. "Silent"), each of which fires off about 20-30 individual Settings adjustments on my Pixel phone;
  • OUT: Sends HE information about person calling, which gets logged and fires off RM automations, like flashing a lamp, sending a CID announcement to EventGhost on PC, ducks the volume on Sonos, etc.

Stuff of that nature.

Ahh.... Too much for even me. I ignore phone calls and just auto switch it to silent after 6pm except for a handful of people. Don't want automations triggered by who I call...lol. I mean if I had to call the ex-wife for some reason, I don't want the nuclear bomb under the house to go off...lol
