I'm contemplating automating my four curtains and exploring two primary options. The first is to purchase new Somfy curtains, which would be a straightforward replacement given that I already have power outlets near them. The second, and my preferred option, is to acquire curtain robots.
I have several questions regarding the curtain robots:
- Is it possible to manually open the curtains when using a robot?
- What is the battery replacement frequency for these devices?
- Do they offer robust community support and integration?
- Are they effective and valuable, or would they be considered a poor investment?
Given these considerations, would you recommend investing in a fully wired solution or opting for the curtain robot? I appreciate your insights.
