Second unit dead on arrival

Ordered unit from Amazon; no damage, box in great shape, does not look used. Would not power up! no lights, not blue, not anything. Did not plug into POE, tried three different power sources, tested the power source that was sent. Amazon sent another one within a week. Got it today...no indication that the unit is getting power. Same as the first one; any help? I do not want to just assume that two units back-to-back are bad, but I have no other recourse at the moment. Have other people experienced this problem?

This is extremely rare. Tagging @bobbyD and I'm gonna recommend the warranty exchange (again) through support.hubitat.com . Really sorry you've gone through this. There has been time to time Amazon not pulling returns and putting it back in the bins when they're bad and they get re shipped out. That's possibly what happened. (Bobby can confirm this if you PM the MAC address from the bottom of the unit). They'll get you squared away

Like getting hit by lightning twice...both highly unlikely and annoying, but luckily this is a lot less dangerous. :slight_smile:

On the positive side, chances of a 3rd DOA are in the billions to one region.

That is unheard of, but anything is possible. Every hub is powered up before is shipped to Amazon. We've had a few hubs that were returns, which Amazon put back in stock because they looked unopened, yet they were registered. But getting two in a row? Please create a warranty case we will ship you a replacement right away. Sorry for the inconvenience.
