How can I search for all places were the mode changes?
Are you talking about automations you've created on the hub, or are you talk about actual code in app drivers or hub applications?
A little more context of what you're trying to do would probably help folks here help you.

Automations I made in my code. Similar to looking in the devices for where the device is accessed in an app.
Sounds like you’re referring to the “in use by” feature for devices.
There is no analogous feature for modes, AFAIK.
You’ll probably have to manually review the automations you have created to find the ones that change the hub’s mode.

I realize it’s a month late, but one approach would be to export all rules as a json blob, then search that blob with an editor.
