I created a trigger to notify me with pushbullit whenever the front lock is unlocked or locked. it's not working right. it works when I unlock it through the hubitat ide, but doesn't work if I input a code. is this a bug? Or have I set it up wrong? Same goes with having it automatically lock. It only does that randomly.
This can be done with Hubitat Safety Monitor very easily. Create a Custom Monitor.
Will you help me with that? I haven't messed with that yet. Is there any documentation on this feature anywhere? I poked around, but I'm only finding questions and solutions posted.
I'm headed to bed but it's not difficult. Open the HSM app. Choose the "Custom" option near the bottom of the list. "Create New Monitoring Rule" and the rest should be pretty obvious.
I believe Hubitat Safety Monitor is installed by default. If it's not in your App list just install it. It's a built in app.

This update? I saw that there was a different lock driver in the release notes. I'll check it out.
Lock Code events from locks are not in this release, only lock codes from security keypads
