I have 3 WiFi Schlage BE499WB locks. I get lock state for them through Amazon Alexa and Apple Home (much faster than the Schlage WiFi app in Hubitat Package Manager).
I'm not seeing a way to get battery status through AA or AH -- does anyone know of a way to do so?
Thank you for the suggestion. My research so far seems to indicate that a direct Homekit connection to HE will remove the locks from the Schlage iPhone app, which is not very desirable (the Schlage app has functionality, such as logs, that I'd like to keep). Any views on that possible issue?
Possibly if you have a legit HomeKit controller(Apple TV, Etc.) that controller can share to Hubitat? I used a homekit integration a while back before it became native to HE
I have an iPhone app called HomeBatteries that monitors Apple Home devices (including my Schlage BE499WB locks) and reports battery levels.
I use one child Shortcut per lock to extract the battery level that HomeBatteries reports and send it to a Hubitat virtual battery via Hubitat's Maker API app.
I use a master Shortcut and an Automation to send all 3 battery level reports to Hubitat once per day.
In Hubitat, I can now use an existing battery level monitoring app or write Rule Machine rules to alert on or use the reported battery levels. I also use Watchtower to track the battery levels over time.

I have BE499WB and was replacing batteries every 3 month until I switched from Wi-Fi to thread. It is undocumented feature of the BE499WB that is widely known. It easily pairs with HomeKit (AppleTV in my case). I switched on Sep. 1 last year and today my battery reports 85%
