Is there a way in a scene to turn on a bulb without setting its color?
I have some Hue bulbs that I like to turn on at night, but I want it to keep the last color I set it to.
It seems I have to set a color in the scene?
I don't think there's a way around that (EDIT: there may be; see reply below--wait, nevermind). Is there a reason you don't put them in a group (on the Hue side would probably be better, assuming you're using a Bridge--make a Room or a Zone--but Hubitat would work too), then just turn that group device on or set its level instead of using a scene?
Yes. If you select a Switch (or Dimmer) as the activation device type, then it will not send a color command. But it will send on() or possibly setLevel() if you want to control the brightness.
Sorry, I was confusing Group with Scene.
Should be separated in the Apps UI
