Hello
It will be much easy for my kids to set the lights as they want and then press a button on remote to save a scene instead coming to me to save it

You can do that. Within a scene you can select to create a capture device. This creates a virtual switch with the scene name followed by Capture. Turning on that virtual switch captures the scene for the lights defined.
