I've noticed my smartthings door/window sensors now go dead at 42% battery reported instead of 0% Anyway to fix this?
Seems to be the nature of the beast with those sensors. Mesh condition does contribute to it somewhat. What kind of RSSI values are you getting from them?
ignore the battery levels.... use Device Activity Check app its does a great job and tells you when sensors have disappeared and you can ignore the very inaccurate battery levels

Besides the fact that the battery indication is only a crude measurement, I would expect a sensor wouldn't work if the battery was below some number.
At what voltage does the sensor stop working? Say for a 3v battery, 42% is 1.6 volts. I've had sensors stop working when the battery is 2.5V. So 0% is not the indicator of when the unit will stop working.
