Samsung Hubitat TV Integration (2016 and later)

I'm trying to reinstall this to see if it will work with a different TV but I can't get the step with the guide button to work. Is there something I'm overlooking? I'm following the directions here:

My best guess is that your device is not "paired" with your TV. To verify this, using your TV's remote, go to
Setting -> General -> External Device Manager -> Device Connection Manager -> Device List

You should have a device on the list similar to "Hubitat Samsung Remote" and "Allowed.

If the device is not allowed, then select "Edit" then "Allow".
- Go to the Hubitat driver and select "menu" (convenient command), being prepared with the TV's remote to accept the connection.

That is the best I have right now. The TV is refusing the webSocket connection and that is the usual suspect.

There is an option to turn off notifications from devices trying to connect. It was turned off so I wasn't seeing the notification. I was able to add the device and it appears to be controlling the TV.

I’m getting a glitch “off” event on the tv driver despite the tv not actually being turned off. The events page shows the off event for a split second and then turns back on. It’s exactly 1 hour since the driver saw a volume command. Is there anything significant to 1 hour that might cause such a glitch event? And how do I fix it?

EDIT: What are your scheduled tasks at the bottom of the Device's Edit Page?

Looking at the code, the only place that attribute "switch" is set is during the quick poll process. This is scheduled (design) for a period between 5 seconds and 1 minute. The only thing I can think is the TV going into a wifi power save mode after one hour - increasing the poll time and causing the error. Logs would be nice at the time the error occurs to confirm this.

The quick poll function (and the attribute "switch") were specifically designed to preclude certain functions attempting to run when the device is off-line (not on wifi) and causing errors and extra processing. It can also be used in rules/etc. to trigger other actions; however, for some reason the command I use fails. I will probably modify the command to do a ping vice sending a command. Test and other updates will add to the time (I need to complete a periodic recheck of the device).

Should not. It turns art mode on or off depending on system settings. It is an ERROR (should not have a parameter but does - therefore the error) and will be corrected in next version.

Test. In the Driver Code, go to line 584. Change the timeout value from 2 to 5. Then save the code. See if that fixes the issue. (I am still going to mod the code. Not fully happy with it.)

Yeah, I've been receiving the same error lately in my logs.

I tried changing the Driver Code on line 584 from 2 to 5. Do I need to reboot the hub in order for the code to take effect?

I am having the on issue. WOL works fine from my asus router (I mean I can turn on the tv fine via the router using Mac just not from hubitat device. I have tried with and without WOL Mac option and same affect. Other functions work fine I have left it for 20 mins and still have the issue.

Verify that the Device Details - Data (bottom of device edit page) includes values for:
deviceMac
alternateWolMAC
deviceUUID
If not, rerun setup, carefully following the instructions.
Try setting the alternateWOLMAC in preferences and saving preferences.

Other than that, I need debug log data when you are trying to execute the WoL.

One thing i am struggling with is getting the Smarthings Tv device ID

Following the instructions it mentions open a logging page. How do i do this to find the device ID?

The log page is created by you as a separate window in step f of SmartThings Integration. The log page is opened in on the Hubitat menu by selecting the upper left of the page (three horizontal bars) and going to the bottom (logs). Use the alternate mouse button (PC) and open in a separate window.

I am quite certain this has been documented earlier in this thread but i have searched and can't find it. How do i get my SmartThings API Key? I know I have done it in the past , but it has been years since i really have done anything with smartthings.
