Do you at least have any details of what Hubitat could not deliver? By posting, are you looking for some assistance in making this work, or just letting others know?
He's selling stuff.
My old Envisilink has been working for years now.
My clients have very limited needs. Oh, that's only me.
I have tried all solutions out there and I have a lot of customers. My solution is simple; Lutron (Caseta/RA2) and Hubitat. If the alarm system is compatible then Invisalink is used. This has been rock solid for a long time.
@sburke781 I needed to bring in third party automations that needed to run on machines with alot more resources. Had to spin of multiple vms for multi site. Hubitat is amazing and i loved it just need to play with some serious equipment so i can be fluent and my hub will just be sitting there. Video is involved with alarm triggers for specific devices custom dashboards based on user. Using a massive Home assistant build out.
Agreed @silverton38 great combo. This is an issue with scale. I
I have tried Home Assistant several times. It works for a while but runs in to issues fast. Also it takes a lot more time to set things up. Time is money. I thank the Hubitat guys for their product.
It is really scalable and ridiculously reliable. I would add that I do not do any Hubitat updates except if I am on location. I also include the Hubitat on the UPS that I use for the router as well. I also use the third party reboot app to reboot the hub once a week.
