Rule trigger bug in v2.4.1.176

Hello,

I upgraded my hub to v2.4.1.176 today and noticed a new bug related to rule triggers.

I have a rule that has an ONLY IF condition in the trigger.
After the recent upgrade it runs actions even when the ONLY IF condition in the trigger is false. Can you please look into it?

Found same issue, rolling back to previous (.175) build fixed it. Before I rolled back I tried updating the rules but that didn't fix it.

Please show the culprit rule.

How do people usually share things like that in this forum?

When I try to include a picture in the post it says "Sorry, you can't embed media items in a post". If I paste a link, it says "Sorry, you can't include links in your posts."

I had my patio lights turn on during the day because of the rules after updating as well. Here is the rule which is triggering.

Thanks. Here's the relevant part of my rule that's affected by the bug:

I am able to reproduce this problem. Looking into it...

I know Bravenel indicated they could reproduce, but adding my rule that is broken immediately after upgrading as well. Just in case it helps narrow things down.

Only the alarm disabled notification is triggering when I open a door and the alarm switch is set to off. No other portions are activated. The rule works as designed when the alarm switch is on.

Thanks. Waiting for the fix, it wrecked half of my automation, which relies on the sunset/sunrise cycle...

Was this issue addressed in today's release (2.4.1.177)?? It is not mentioned in the release notes.

I can confirm this resolved my issues I described earlier in this thread.

Release notes say "Rule 5.1: Fixed incorrectly firing triggers.". I think this bug is what they mean.

Yes, that was added after I made the last comment.

Sorry about that; I'm 3 hours behind the guys on the East Coast.

@bravenel I’m not sure what was changed in .177 to fix this bug, but some of my rules that worked fine have not been triggering for the last few days.

Eg this is the one I’ve noticed today that didn’t run.

Edit: I removed the second example, that was user error on my part. I’m turning on logging for the night to home mode rule as that has failed two days running.
