Rule manager is True but valve does not close

I have several water sensors that when triggered will send a text but do not flash my "trouble light" or turn off the main water valve. what am I doing wrong?

I believe you need to change your rule to a trigger, using the water sensors as your triggers.

I have tried triggers and inverted the logic to make sure all are "Dry" is true and if false to close the valve but still no actuation of the valve. Hubitatยฎ Safety Monitor Armed Smoke/Water] becomes active but even when I select that as a trigger, the valve does not close. ( BTW, i can manually close the valve from my dashboard so it is connected and working, so it has to be a mistake in the rule or a problem activating the valve to close) Even it shows true above in the picture but no valve or light activation. I have other rules that work with contacts that trigger flashing lights and sends me text notifications and seem to work as expected, but the water valve does not seem to work.

Use a trigger exactly like your rule, but without inverting the logic. You want to do something when one of the sensors is wet. To get this working, remove the repeat for now. Are you sure the two lights actually flash (use the Flash command from the device page). Look at your event logs for the app, and the logs for the devices. Best would be to turn on Logs and see what happens when one of the sensors gets wet. Also, be sure the valve actually closes when you hit Close from its device page.

When something like this doesn't work the way you expect it to, break it down to find out what is wrong. Element by element. Start simple that works, add to it.

After update to new software version, this now works.... Now the garage door open alert / text message doesn't work anymore. (It worked once with a test then quit. Removed rule and recreated it and still dosen't work. (even with rule manager 3.0))
It seems I know how to set conditions but they do not run consistently and sometimes just quit for no apparent reason. I sure hope the leak sensors shut off the main water valve when there is a real leak....

If you want help you need to show the rules in question.

I give up for today. Next week it will probably work again. I don't think is is a "rule" issue but a bug issue. The valve problem works now and is what I was focusing on and thought the garage would be a nice addition to fix but will save for next time....
Thanks John

It all works now... I had an IP address conflict. Renewed my IP and it works.
