Just installed RM on C-7 hub. Added RM from built in apps.
When I try to use it I get an " Error 404
App type with namespace: hubitat and name: Rule-5.1 has parent type that does not match current app"
I see lots of the same in forum but no answers.. I don't know how to proceed.
Any help would be appreciated.
What platform version are you running? Check Settings > Hub Details.
Also:
- try waiting a few minutes (maybe 10 or so) to see if the problem goes away on its own; or
- try a Settings > Reboot and see if that helps (without without waiting again after)

Platform Version is 2.3.9.166
I've rebooted and removed it and re installed it.
it does start but when I click create new rule if fails.

Could you please try the following:
- Bring up http://hubs.ip.address.here/app/appTypeList page.
- Find ruleApp51, click Delete link. It should show up an empty page.
- Reboot the hub.
* replace"hubs.ip.address.here" with your hub's IP address

I noticed today that platform version 2.3.9.180 was available for my hub. After the update, I was able to create and run a new rule with Rule Machine.
Following your link, ruleApp51 is listed with "1" for Instances and has no Delete link.
