I have a fairly simple RM setup that turns off about 10 devices at sunrise (via a device list in a Group). This morning, it did not happen. I don't think it had anything to do with signal strength, as none of the devices in the Group went off.
Recently updated to xx.130 and 17.7. I don't know if this has anything to do with it, or is this some inherent reliability issue. This is the first time this happened. My hardware is C7.
Anyone ever have a rule that just didn't execute once in a while?
Dunno if this is possibly one of the things they recommended doing a preemptive "open Rule, click 'Done'" for with the recent round of hub updates, but that's maybe worth a shot too (in addition to any other troubleshooting)? Basically, doing a good ol' off-on fix...
Turn on all Logging in the rule (Event, Trigger, Actions). You can easily test that the rule is firing the Group by just hitting Run Actions in the rule. Tomorrow morning it should log the sunrise event.
I did try the Run Actions later this morning at it did run. Just didn't do it at sunset. I will turn on all logging and check it in the morning. Thanks.
