I am new to Hubitat and trying to diagnose some issues. I’ve noticed that all my rules in rules machine have no events logged but they are all enabled for logging > events, triggers and actions. Should there be any events listed when going to the cog wheel for the rule > events?
Are you able to provide a screenshot or some details of one or more of the rules you are not seeing logged, in particular their triggers and any required expressions?
Oh, hang on, I may have misread your post. Are you only looking under the Events section for the rule? I'm not sure if the logging option would mean an event would get logged there.... They definitely get recorded under the Logs area. Have you looked there?

Yes, only looking under the events section of the rule. For example, I have a rule that switches my iPhone device presence to home are away but I don’t see that in the events under the rule.
Is the device being changed in the LOGS section?
Yes, like I said, I'm not expecting you would see any Events there, though I could be wrong. In my experience the logging options your turned on have always produced entries in the logs for the hub, I have never looked under the Events area. Check the logs to see if anything appears there.
No. RM does not create events that would show up here.
