When turning lights on/off the rule machine offers -
Control Switches, Push Buttons
Select Which Action
Turn Switches on/off

It would be helpful to separate these and have separate selections for Turn Switches On and Turn Switches Off. The default is 'on' and if not careful it is easy to leave the selection to 'on' and forget to change the on/off slider.

Many actions that have two choices were collapsed into a single action with a toggle, just like switch on/off. Previously, they had been separate as you suggest. However, the list of actions became very long and posed its own usability problems.
