As my hub device list grew - I was pleased to discover the Rooms as a way to 'sort' my devices and also make them easier to quick-pick.
It occurs to me that the room list needs to have one more additional listing - unassigned. While technically I get the list showing only devices assigned a value, but a list of unassigned would also be useful.
Why don't you create a room called Unassigned? Each device can only be in one room in the current interface, so they'll automatically transfer out of unassigned when you assign them to an actual room.
Of course - that's a solution - however - it really misses the point - the room value to a device that has not been assigned is 'null'. I'm suggesting that the rooms section default to having a 'null' or unassigned room so all devices show up - helping the user sort, and manage.
Ok I get you now. I hadn't noticed that unassigned devices don't show up on the rooms page
