Since blinds don't really have "on" and "off" settings, just positions, I'm wondering if there is a way to define "off" in a room lighting app. For example, I have a room lighting app I created that closes the living room blinds when the TV is turned on but only during the day. When I turn off the TV, I'd like it to open the blinds if it's still daylight but I don't see a way to set an "off" position, only an "on". Do I need to setup a new app that activates when the TV is turned off?
I don't use Room Lighting, but usually blinds support both position and level. Can you 'dim' the blinds to level 0 (closed) or 99 (open)?
There is only the ability to set position when room lighting activates not when it shuts off.
I solved this by using rules, just creating a rule for when the room light device shuts off.
