Hi,
Does someone know a good roller shutter for Venetian blinds that is compatible with HE7 and supports to programmatically set the slat angle?
Thanks
@juergen.wiest.de If it's a standard blind like that, the iblinds v3 at myiblinds.com should work for you. Or if not available in your z-wave frequency for you country you can use the e-wand at myewand.com
I had Fibaro and now using Shelly and non of them support agnle positioning in HE neither in Homey. Fibaro had native support of slats angle, but only in Fibaro controller.
However, there is quite a simple workaround by controlling blinds by small increment from current position and it wokrs nice (e.g. +2 or -2 to current level position). Only information to user about current slat angle is missing, but for automation purpose, its more then enough.
rlithgow1 I already have electric blinds and just want to automate them, sorry maybe that wasn't clear.
igor.lehotan I have the Fibaro RS3, and I want to equip a few more blinds and thought there might be a better on. I just find it weird to not have direct control over the slat angle.
igor.lehotan When I change the level the blind goes up but the slats actually close after the level is reached? Is that different for you?
Got ya.,.. Thought you were looking for shade controllers..... Ok, So in rule machine, under actions pick "Position Shades" under actions...
rlithgow1 But that positions the blind itself. I want to set the slat angle. As written above, if I set the position it positions the blind, but the slats will be always closed with my Fibaro RS3 (after the positioning).
Ahh... The ones I use, under percentage that controls the slat angle (they only tilt not raise and lower) It should be the same for yours
rlithgow1 which one do you use? As I said, the Fibaro RS3 don't have this (or I don't have the correct driver)
On some I use the iblinds v3, another uses the e-wand
OK, then I just guess that its different for them, unfortunately
