New to the group, so please excuse me if I am not fully aligned with the etiquette here. Have just received my Hubitat today and was all excited to get started pairing it with a 'Smart Switch' (Relays) by 'RoHS'. Have not found the listing under Hubitat's device selection. Tried some alternatives with no success. Just checking if anyone here had already paired such a device and if not then maybe someone has recommendations how to promote this to be supported. Thanks for reading!
As near as I can tell RoHS only makes WiFi switches which are not natively supported. You'll want to use Zwave+ or Zigbee devices.
Thanks for feedback! Looks like this device runs under many names (I found it also on Amazon under ' MHCOZY 1'). Bought mine on Alibaba. Anyway, have tried adding it as a generic Zigbee device and was able to control it from Hubitat server. Have not tested linking it to Alexa yet. Will send update on success for future reference here.
One of the very good Hubitat features is that you don’t need to wait weeks or months until new/unknown Zigbee devices ‘fingerprints’ are added into the system.
With some experience and trials you will be able to find generic Zigbee drivers that will work for most of the devices sold under many different white labels.
Good luck!
