i live in a gated community and when someone enters the community, i receive an email and SMS notifying me. i would like alexa to announce the visitor using RM + TTS, but i don't know how i would parse the SMS and get it into HE. the SMS is always a standard template, so what i would like to do is find the visitor name in the SMS, and pass that to RM + TTS. is there a way to do this?
I don’t know how to do this with Hubitat alone, but if you use NodeRED, I think it is possible to parse an email.
