Using a Smarthings plug (reporting set to 10W)with very simple RM monitoring my washing machine, issuing a message when the machine stops (for any reason).
The rule works, however the trigCustoms setting keeps getting larger when running the washing machine.
Is this an RM bug, or does the rule need adjustment?
@arnb
This is my rule that works perfectly. I just have it notify my wife and I when it is done running. This might help with getting what you want. Machine just so happens to be currently running. Since the machine (at least mine) will go below 4 watts for several pause cycles during the wash, I have a 3 minute timer before it will send out the alert after it drops below 4 watts.
Thank you for posting your rule. I found it or something similar prior to setting up my rule. I'm a big proponent of Occams Razor, hence my very succinct rule.
As I mentioned my rule works, but the RM trigCustoms field looks wrong. Should my rule prove to be an RM issue I will replace it with your rule.
Perhaps @bravenel has some insight?
I have the plug reporting at 10watts, any lower and the number of event reports is excessive. However, my machine at idle/off is 1Watt
