So I have this RM trigger to turn on a few outside light at sunset. I'm sitting here watching the log tonight and I am noticing that it didn't send a command to my "front right" bulb.
When I go into Front Right device page, it seems like a zigbee mess issue because I have to push on and off a few times before the light would come ON. This is a sengled zigbee bulb. I've noticed this before, these bulb sometimes require multiple on/off commands for them to turn ON.
I don't know but today my hub was frozen, I noticed when I was looking my front cameras and the mailman at 3pm opened the mailbox and the alert didn't come out, I rebooted the hub like 5 times, I restored a database, nothing was working for the z wave side but zigbee was fine, then when I was doing nothing it just started to work.... honestly I don't know what's going on... I didn't email support....
Don't do this! You don't need to reboot to fix Z-Wave issues. In fact, rebooting does the opposite. Upon each reboot the system has to initialize each W-Wave device. That's a lot of Z-Wave traffic, so if you were having Z-Wave issues before, rebooting just makes them worse.
As for your hub being frozen, we have been seeing hubs run into the ground by misbehaving custom drivers and apps. Post a list here of your custom drivers and apps. Most likely, in that list is the source of your problem.
That's not what you are noticing at all. What you are noticing is that the device didn't receive a command, not that RM didn't send one. If your Zigbee devices are not responding, perhaps adding a powered repeater would help.
Problem is I have zigbee power plugs (Iris) about 8 feet away behind the front door. I have those plugs in just about every outlet in the house. I could be seeing interference I guess.
Sorry Bruce, I thought incorrectly, thanks for the clarification.
Installed custom apps: Garadget and Smarttiles. I have a couple of other app codes saved but not installed or configured.
Installed custom drivers: DuncanIdahoCT Aeon HEM Gen5(zwave plus), Garadget, Hubduino, robertvandervoort zooZ Indoor Siren ZSE01 - RV v1.2, I have other drivers saved but not using them.
I been watching the logs for days and I don't see any weird logs, the only problem I still have is the slow response when I manually open the smart lock that takes 6 secs to turn on the light after the door contact is open but the contact reports instantly(hubduino). The HEM I have it to update every 10 seconds but only if it see a change of 50 watts, that's a big gap, I had it every 6 seconds any wattage change in ST with no issues.
