This rule works great so far after two drying cycles. I am using a Smarthings multisensor V5 to measure the vibration/acceleration, A few other things I did:
- Disabled the 3-axis reporting on the device page (a very nice feature in the driver) because it will fill up your logs and probably kill the sensor battery
- Moved the washer a bit further from the dryer since they were touching. I also moved the sensor from the top of the dryer to the side farthest away from the washer. Now it picks up no vibration at all from the washer.
- Re-leveled the legs on the dryer so that there was no wobble.
@Ryan780 that example also helped me to re-write and consolidate a couple of other rules.
