Now that I am writing more rules I find my self often opening up the setting page and then having to scroll down to the bottom to see scheduled jobs. Having them listed on the rule page below the variable;e list would be nice i think.
Why do you find yourself frequently doing this? I don't know that I've ever had a reason to look at the scheduled jobs? I'm curious what the use case for this is.
Well I have written a number of rules lately that have waits or are supposed to do something at a certain time.
Just wrote a group of rules that monitor my Arlo cameras and turn them off if they have too much activity over a small time period. My cameras are battery operated so I don't want them needlessly recording unnecessary crap. I didn't even know you could see the scheduled jobs for a long time. I was reading a thread and someone mentioned it. I had opened the setting page but never scrolled down far enough to know that was there.
I use this quite a bit in webcore as well. At the top of every piston is a text that tells you the last time a piston ran and the next time it is scheduled to run. That is very useful info when troubleshooting a timed rule.
I don't disagree it can be useful for troubleshooting, but from a UX perspective, the main path of a UI should lead down the "happy path." Just my 2 cents.
