RM 5.1.1 Between two times, purpose of Start and End Time?

Hi,

I wanted to run a rule that will only run between sunset and sunrise.
I selected "Between Two Times", and now presented with "Start time" and "End Time".
I don't really care when it start/end, as I trust for HE to identify when is my sunset and sunrise time.

The question is, how come I am asked to populate "start time" and "end time"? what's the purpose of it?

When I tried to add it, the system thrown the following error:

And when you populate with some value and click update to both of the "start and end time" fields:

The following is then presented:

I have a feeling that I might have found a potential bug?

Thanks

Update: I'm using HE 2.3.0.120 (Hardware: Rev C-5)

Or a desirable situation.... at least for when sunset may be.... BTW Sunset is 19:57 for me.... on the east coast of Aus....

In case I missed it, may me worth quoting your platform version as well, e.g. 1.2.30.XXX

I‘ve just tested this and it works as expected for me. In that, it is only displayed when “A Specific Time“ is selected, otherwise it displayed offset.
I’m on 2.3.0.120, I only see

Fixed bug with Between Two Times in Wait.

in the initial 2.3.0 release and nothing else about between two times.
What version are you running?

It is a bug. The start-time/end-time is only applicable when using a specific time. Anything you enter in that field when using Sunset/Sunrise is ignored. I'm having the same issue with Time of Day. If I specify Sunrise (or Sunset), I get the mandatory Start-Time field. Once I enter something (doesn't matter what), that field clears, I get the Offset box. I'm also on the latest version 2.3.0.120 with the C-7 hardware.

What browser are you using? And do you possibly have the Screen Reader option turned on in Settings? It should be off.

I'm using Chrome on my macosx

Ah, that's what it is, the screen reader was really good when using it from the phone, but looks funny when using it from the desktop
