Ring V2 Z-wave inclusion on C-5 won't pair

I purchased a Ring contact sensor V-2, S-2, z-wave and I have the latest version of 2.3.5.101 on my HE C-5. The green light is flashing green 3 indicating in inclusion mode, won't pair. I have factory reset and removed both batteries and attempted an inclusion with no luck. I have completed this process 3 times and I have the sensor within 2" to 5' trying to pair.

Any thoughts?

Most ring devices refuse to include on C-5 due to the lack of S2 security.. So they only work on C-7 or C-8..
