I recently received an email from Ring offering a free upgrade of my Ring Pro doorbell? Has anyone out there seen this and is it worth the trouble of upgrading?

Next generation means what exactly?
If that’s true I’m kinda jealous. Lol
Ring often gives away free products to current customers.
I have gotten a free chime and ring alarm kit.
I had a ring pro and it was better than the standard ring doorbell but eventually upgraded to the Ring elite as I didn't want a wifi doorbell I wanted a POE.
It's ok but still cloud based.
I am in their explorer beta tester program and they do listen to and implement suggestions.
Plus they are owned by amazon so they have a lot of financial backing to develop and improve their products.
Maybe should have waited for the unifi doorbell or maybe a doorbird but they are expensive.
