Have been trying to find nice usable keypad for Hubitat. Purchased Ring ketpad Ver 2 but unable to add it to Hubitat.
I have initially done a factory reset, then went through the procedure to add a z-wave device. I get the "found z-wave device" but then it hange there and never adds it to the system.
I have gone through the factory reset, then add procedure about 4-5 times now on two different days.
Still on the C-7 and is updated and freshly rebooted.
Anyone with suggestions/HELP.
Return it. There is no proper support for the second version within Hubitat. I have one, and it took me over a week of troubleshooting, finding a community driver, modifications to the keypad settings by using special drivers, etc. I did get it (mostly) working, but it still has problems every few months. NOT recommended. I wish I could give you specific details, but I honestly do not remember all the steps I went through and plan to throw it out if I ever have to set it up from scratch again. It would have been easier to put a tablet on the wall in the garage instead of the Ring keypad due to the horrible integration.
