Running HE C7, trying to get ring keypad v2 online, did factory reset per manual, i get the red indication when ring is reset, then started inclusion, HE finds Ring Keypad, HE times out and with message “looks like you’re having trouble including your device. I only have one Ring keypad, brand new out the box, i have the HE and keypad 5’ apart.
I don't know anything about Ring stuff, but did you see this thread?

After more search, I just found more documentation on using the smartstart method in the z-wave manual which I will try next.
