I have added a Ring V2 Keypad to Hubitat C8 Pro to arm and disarm my alarm. I currently do that using HSM. The device pairs correctly and HSM lets me add it. When arming, etc via HSM it is announced on the keypad but trying to arm/disarm via the keypad does not register. I've searched the community and tried recommended fixes with no success. Most of the posts are very old (2022). I'm hoping there is some newer info for configuring this device to work correctly. It would be a very nice addition to Hubitat's HSM functionality.

Can you tell me exactly step by step what you are doing that isn't working?
So for some reason today the arm away and arm home buttons started working with HSM. The disarm button is still not functioning. The only thing I did out of the ordinary was to do an update and restart to my Unifi PRO SE gateway. I'm using the community driver.
I know this isn't the answer anyone wants, but please spare yourself the hell. That keypad is the spawn of Satan. I spent a solid year being tortured by it on and off every time I thought I had it fixed. I finally smashed it to bits and replaced it with a tablet running fully kiosk browser and some custom code on a dashboard. It has been flawless for years now.
I think I'm with you on this. I already set up a Galaxy tablet with fully kiosk and the EZ Dashboard with HSM that I intend to use for main console. I just saw discussions on the Ring Keypad and at $20 on Amazon I thought I'd give it a try. If it worked consistently, the simplicity of it paired with a tablet could be nice. I do like some of the audio announcements it makes when arming and disarming from the tablet. There might be a way to do. that from the EZ Dashboard but I'm not familiar. I've only been using Hubitat for a couple of weeks so no expert but so far I like it. I was a SmartThings user for home automation (no alarm system) in a previous house and I was pretty happy with it. I tried to use it with the Konnected Panel and wired sensors I set up but was too limited for basic things like exit delays, etc. Thanks for responding.
I have all of the wall tablets (also Galaxy tabs) in my house perform audio announcements (much better than that kaypad could ever do) through fully kiosk browser. You can program announcements via rule machine and then set a voice you like. There are threads here with info. Mine will even announce if there is a tornado warning via data pulled from NWS. All through Hubitat and fully kiosk. If you want the dashboards to be really clean and custom, I would learn to edit the CSS and skip EZ dashboards personally.
