Hello Community, I’m looking for suggestions for some retrofit can lights that are rgb controllable through a Zooz dimmer?
I’m well aware of “smart” or “WiFi” lights, those aren’t what I’m looking for. I already have all of my smart dimmers in place, I’m just looking for can lights that will take rgb instructions from HE via the switch.
Unfortunately, at the moment there is no method for the Zooz dimmer to control a non-smart RGB Led.
There are some specialty devices but you would have to change the in-wall dimmer and in my opinion they are much too costly. Although I will admit I'm not too familiar with what else might be out there.
Regarding the actual lights. All RGB Led lights I've seen work either on 12Vdc or 24Vdc. So somewhere there has to be a device that converts the 120V mains to 12V (or 24V).
