Reusing C5 after migrating it to a C7

A few months ago I migrated a C5 to a C7 (via Hub Protect). Now I'd like to put the C5 to work. So I think I need to:

A. Clear the C5's Z radios
B. Exclude desired devices from the C7
C. Include them on the C5
D. Set up the Hub Mesh app (on both units?)

Correct? Complete?

B and C I got, D I can read and try to figure out.

But A, I don't see an option to do that on the C7. OK I'm a little scared to look too hard. Also, if I power up the C5 (in order to clear it), will it mess up, long term, my Z Wave mesh?

Did you remove the devices from the C5 before shutting it down? You should be able to power it up without any conflicts if you have.

I use my C-5 for zigbee devices and my C-7 for z-wave devices. So all I did was to reset the z-wave radio on the C-5, and then delete the relevant devices.

The interesting thing is that before I did that, my devices were controllable from both the C-5 and C-7. And events were recorded by both. Kind of fun!
