Yes to the plan. Although if you want some more feedback first, getting the details from under the cover plate on some of the devices might be useful for people who know more about that brand.
This is just a hunch I have as we have seen it a few times where a devices goes bad and into a death spiral, then just spams out garbage on the zwave mesh non stop. Seems to be a Jasco made device more often than not.
A zniffer can identify the device immediately, but without that it's more of a guessing game.
