[Resolved] Zooz Zen27 Firmware 3.01 not properly being included on C-4 / C-5 Hubs

Hello All.

I finally got around to installing my Zen27's, and I have run into a very interesting "issue" I have a C-4, C-5, and a C-7 (that I will be switching everything over too soon), and I cannot properly add the Zen27 with firmware 3.01 too either the C-4 or C-5. The C-4/C-5 will find the device, but when it is time to save it, it does not know what kind of device it is, and thus does not install a driver. I can manually add the driver, but the C-4/C-5 cannot control the device.

The same device (after properly excluded it and doing a reset on it), will add just fine to the C-7, and is recognized without any issues.

Now, more interesting data. I have a Zen27 with firmware 3.0 that adds just find to the C-4 / C-5, is recognized, etc. I did a firmware update on it (to version 3.01) via the firmware updater tool and I can no longer add it back properly to the C-4/C-5.

Curious if anybody has run into this before. I sent a request to Zooz as well, and will report back.

This is probably redundant, but after changing the driver, did you hit "Configure"?

Thanks for the suggestion. I did, but no go. It is almost like the hub doesn't fully "connect" to the Zen27, and doesn't know what it is.

Quick update. I was able to get it too add to my c-5 (still not recognized as any kind of device), and then try the Zooz Smart Dimmer driver again, and I can now turn off / on the lights, and with a couple of configures it now seems to populate the firmwareVersion. The Current Status doesn't seem to update properly though. (it never updates the status unless I click refresh).

Still testing if it will work on my C-4.

Figure I would give another update. I after some fiddling (include/exclude, etc, etc), I was able to get both of my Zen27's connected to my C-4 hub. Once I saved the zooz driver and ran the configure a couple of times it seemed to figure out the switch and all appears working OK.

I do think there is some difference between firmware 3.0 and 3.01 that is making the c-4/c-5 hubs not recognize what the switch is. Version 3.0 worked fine. And so far both versions worked fine out of the box with the C-7 Hub.
