Reset account associated with my hub

I have purchased a used hubitat from amazon and it looks like it is already paired with another account. How can i reset this and set it up with my email

Amazon is not supposed to be sending out "returns". Only the original purchaser can reset it, and apparently they didn't do that before shipping it back.

You're probably best off returning it to Amazon. Also tagging @support_team.

Have you intentionally purchased a used hub from Amazon? They are not supposed to sell used hubs directly or via marketplace. Also, they shouldn't be selling returned hubs, as @aaiyar previously mentioned. Please check out the notifications in the upper right corner, I sent you a private message.

At least they are not selling them as "new" like they've done before, even though they are not supposed to sell returned hubs at all. Selling them via warehouse is even more rare than reselling returned hubs, that's why you haven't seen it before. Thanks for pointing out. We will reach out to their management tomorrow.
