I have a CT artificial skylight of unknown manufacturing origin that is capable of 2000K - 8000K. It seems 6500K is the top offered. Can that be increased?
the current values are not enforced in the schema
Sorry. I don't really understand what that means.
It means you can set it to whatever you want, including 8000.
Ah. OK. I should have read the CT with my meter before I assumed it wasn't going all the way up. Asking for 2000K gives me 2000K but as I go up the asking for K and the actual K I get become more skewed until about 6500K where the light is actually at 7950K (close enough). From 6500 - infinity it's pegged at 7950K.
Holy mackeral, are you going to actinic ranges?
Whatever the bulb reports in K is what it's capable of, we don't mess with the values sent or received.
