Request for DD/MM/YYYY Date Format Option

I’ve been digging through the settings on my Hubitat Elevation and was surprised to discover there’s no option to change the date format in the UI. Unless I'm not finding it.

At the moment, logs and system pages appear fixed to MM/DD/YYYY. For those of us outside America, DD/MM/YYYY is the standard and avoids that brief moment of “Wait… is that March 2nd or February 3rd?”

I'll make you a deal, if we change the date format can you guys stop using centigrade for temperatures?

Not sure what context you need this for, but for setting String variables at least, date formatting is already available in Rule Machine:

agreed, everyone knows Kelvin is better (if you're Rankine measurement systems)
couldn't resist...... metrologist by trade (NOTE: Not a weather guy, a measurement science guy)

Interestingly system logs (past and active) are YYYY-MM-DD. Wonder why the others are not? That sorta would make sense no matter where you are from.

Every 6 months I get so annoyed by it I go to the system settings to try to find the toggle, finally I decided to post in the forum. Pretty freaky the date is only in American, considering Hubitat is a global product, isn't it?

Many developers accommodate their international users in their Smartapps, but Hubitat only caters to the American market.

When viewing device logs it always takes a minute to realise what day something happened. Just a small pain point to live with.
