Request for a (small) modification to Aeotec Siren 5 Driver

I'm not sure to whom this request should be addressed.

I have an Aeotec Siren on one hub, called "Devices" (where I have all of my devices).
On another hub, I have all of my apps, called "Apps" (including HSM, alarms, etc.). Devices are brought from one hub to another via Hub Mesh, no problem.

However, on the Aeotec Siren device, the "Siren Sound" (which is a Preferences) can only be changed on the "Devices" hub, not the "Apps" hub.

Can the built in driver be changed so that the siren sound be modified on hub mesh hubs?

This isn't a driver feature but rather just how Hub Mesh works, per the docs:

NOTE: Device Preferences and Information changes will update on the linked device after 1 minute, but they cannot be changed from the linked device.

Then why are the Preferences on some devices allowed to be changed?

They shouldn't be. Can you provide a screenshot of an example? You can change some device information, including the Device Label and Room, on the linked hub.

My apologies - it was a local switch that I was looking at , not a hub mesh one.

OK.
I will re-arrange my devices so that I can make this idea work.
