Replacing my C-5 with a C-8

Hello,

I just sold my C5 and am looking to replace it with a new C8, though came across plenty of complaints regarding network issues with the C8.

Would appreciate feedback on these issues.... Are those resolved or are you still experiencing issues?

I was EXTREMELY happy with my C5 for the past 4 years! Very stable and reliable!!!!

The only real network issues are don't enable jumbo frames anywhere on your network, and anecdotally there have been issues with wifi. Hardwired is best though. Use a DHCP assigned reservation instead of static ip directly on the unit. This all applies to the c5/c7/c8

Oh if you're using a unifi switch do not use a Poe splitter with the c8. It causes z-wave issues. No one is certain why

Can you be more specific? “Network issues” could refer to many different things.
