I have been reading many of the posts here for a few years and now taking the plunge. Specifically asking for suggestions on switches and scene type switches to replace a 20 year old plus Lutron Grafix Eye 4000 system installed in a residence. That lighting system is obsolete and needs to be replaced. The devices can't control LED lights and only limited automation.
- the devices that control an individual light look similar to current lutron paddle (decora) switch but are obsolete from a software support and load limitations. These have been located in obscure and hard to get at locations.
- the scene controllers link to the above light switches via the old Lutron wireless network. Almost all of the "light switches" in the house are the chiclet type Lutron switches that control multiple scenes.
I have used the Miboxer FUT037z+ LED controllers for some of the replacement lights and their 8 scene dual gang controller. No success getting this to work with the HE.
I am looking for suggestions regarding either how to get the miboxer zigbee latest versions of their controllers or wall switches to work with HE or switching to another brand that can replace that old Lutron system. I'd prefer not to use anything Lutron going forward.
