What app do I use to do the following?
Start sequence at 9:00 AM
turn switchx on at 9:00AM run 14 Minutes
Turn switchx off for 1 minute.
Repeat until 4:00PM
End sequence turn Switchx off at 4:00PM.
Rule Machine.

Do I have to use the rule machine gui or can I write the code somewhere to create the rule?
You can try an AI tool to help develop the rule, but if using Rule Machine, you have to use its UI.
If you don't like Rule Machine, you can try Webcore.

You could write your own Groovy app if you're so inclined (and coding-capable). You could use AI to write a groovy app (I've used it to write a driver, no idea how to code).

Hmmm I didn't know you could do that. I can code it no problem. The Rule Machine is kind of a PIA. I understand the code structure more then the Rule Machine GUI.

If you're interested in sharing (and no reason why you have to, of course), you could consider writing your app so it has some flexibility in use (e.g., allows entry of values/settings that determine when it runs, number of repeats, how repeats are cancelled, etc.) and share it to the community at some point as a "Repeating app." (Similar to existing community apps like Auto Lock, which allows users to use a simple app to do something specific that could be done in RM or other general purpose automations).
One of the key strengths of this platform are the community integrations, apps, and drivers that extend and enhance the experience, we like to say that choice is good.

I wish I had the time to dedicate to this but I have so many projects in my retired life.
Seems there is always another project to add and something new to learn. I m fumbling through the rule machine and will eventually get it.

The rule is running but the pool pump is not cycling. Several other things I have noticed.
On my dashboard (on an android) the pool pump is not executing all i get is sending. Then I found something else out . The pool pump is controlled by 1 channel on a Sonoff 4CH Pro running Tasmota.
If I cycle the pool pump nothing shows up in the live logs or past logs. I pretty much dont pay any attention to the HUB unless I need to.
