How do I remove unwanted child devices?
I changed built-in "Jasco Z-Wave Motion Dimmer" to custom
"GE Z-Wave Plus Motion Dimmer Component" driver.
This driver definitely has more configurable options vs. built-in
driver but it did not solve my problem.
I was hopping to use On/Off Buttons as a trigger events for
Button Controller or RM. This is not working with either driver.
Because this MS/Dimmer is used in many RM rules and problem was
not addressed I revert back to the built-in driver.
But I ended up with two now useless and unwanted child devices.
The "Remove Device" button is grayed.
What is the easiest way to remove these two child devices?
Easiest way in my opinion is to change the driver to "Device", hit save, then there is a command to remove child devices.
Do that, then switch to the driver of your choice.
