I created and renamed a couple modes in settings. I would like to remove them but I am getting an "Error 500". I have tried different browsers and removed it from any RM automations. Any ideas?

Do you use any other Apps where modes may be being used, like Room Lighting, Button Controllers, Simple Rules, Mode Manager, HSM, Maker API, Dashboards, etc?
Otherwise, and this appears more likely, you may need to do a database rebuild via a Reboot in the Settings page for the hub, using the new database rebuild option.
There is probably a more detailed error in the hub logs, post a screenshot of the error.
